BlaineTurner Advertising (BTA), a full-service marketing and public relations agency in Morgantown, W.Va., was recently honored with three Communicator Awards, recognizing its work for the Greater Morgantown Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) in Morgantown, W.Va. and United Hospital Center (UHC) located in Bridgeport, W.Va.
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. Founded nearly two decades ago, the Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.
BTA’s work on the GMCVB Web site, tourmorgantown.com, received a 2013 Silver Award of Distinction for “Web Sites – Travel/Tourism. The agency received two 2013 Silver Awards of Distinction for “Commercials – Hospital” honoring their UHC productions titled “Obstetrics and Gynecology at United Hospital Center”” and “WVU Healthcare Neurosurgery, Spine, and Pain Center at UHC.”

The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of Visual Arts, an invitation-only member-based organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of media, advertising, and marketing firms such as Conde Nast, Coach, Disney, MTV Networks, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Time, Inc, Victoria’s Secret, Wired, and Yahoo.
