BlaineTurner Advertising (BTA) recognizes Art Director and Multimedia Specialist, Galen Shaffer, on 25 years of dedication and creative ambition.
Shaffer is a 1987 graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and joined BTA in 1992 as a designer, where he immediately had the opportunity to learn 3-D animation and special effects, video and audio editing, as well as web and application development. In 2001, Shaffer was promoted to Art Director with his strategic and creative thinking, and his commitment to never stop learning.
Throughout his 25-year career, Shaffer has consistently met the needs of BTA’s clients by providing creative solutions to their marketing and media projects. With new technological designs and applications, and as technology continues to progress, Shaffer is ahead of the curve. He is persistent with staying up to date on the most current multimedia trends and tools to keep the company, and its clients, ahead of the competition.
His experience includes more than 20 years of video production and editing with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, 15 years of InDesign, Adobe After Effects, art directing and web designing, as well as 13 years of Final Cut Pro.

Shaffer and his wife, Kandy, live in Kingwood, W.Va.
