BlaineTurner Advertising, Inc. (BTA), a full-service marketing firm in Morgantown, W.Va., has recently received several advertising award accolades as well as a regional Emmy® Award nomination.
“This is Where…You’re Part of Something Special,” a physicians recruitment video created for United Hospital Center (UHC), a 300-bed hospital located in Bridgeport, W.Va., was nominated for an Ohio Valley Chapter Regional Emmy® Award for “Short Format Program.” Emmy® winners will be announced at the July 25 awards gala in Lexington, Ky.
UHC’s physicians recruitment video also received recognition from the Communicator Awards, Telly Awards and Healthcare Advertising Awards. The video picked up a silver Communicator Award of Distinction in “Film/Video – Recruitment,” a bronze Telly Award for “Film/Video – Non-Broadcast Productions – Recruitment” and was named a Merit Winner for the Healthcare Advertising Awards in “Professional Recruitment Program.”
BTA secured another silver Communicator Award of Distinction in “Brochure – Company Overview” for the production of a corporate brochure for FCX Systems. FCX Systems designs and manufactures solid-state frequency converters and ground power support for aviation, commercial, military and shore industries around the world.
The agency was also recognized in health care marketing with a silver Aster Award in “TV/Video Advertising – Series” for its production of two commercials, “Hopes and Dreams” and “Treating Cancer Here at Home,” showcasing the Schwab Family Cancer Center at Western Maryland Health System (WMHS). WMHS is a 275-bed hospital located in Cumberland, Md.
Individually, the WMHS commercial spots were also each awarded with a bronze Telly Award in “Commercial – Local TV & Local Cable – Hospital (over 200 beds).”
In addition, both UHC and WMHS were named as finalists in the “Web Site” category for the 2015 Hospital Marketing Advertising Awards. Winners will be announced at the June 18 ceremony in Atlanta, Ga.
BTA is also up for four PRSA-WV Crystal Awards for its advertising and marketing efforts for UHC, FCX Systems and the Greater Morgantown Convention and Visitors Bureau. Winners and honorable mentions will be revealed June 17 at the 2015 PRSA-WV Crystal Awards Gala in Charleston, W.Va.
