At BlaineTurner Advertising, we love celebrating the diverse backgrounds of our team. One of our favorite traditions is Mardi Gras, thanks to our very own New Orleans native, Becky Hutchinson, Senior Graphic Designer.
Becky’s journey has taken her across the country and even overseas, but her roots in New Orleans culture and tradition remain strong. After earning a Graphic Design degree from Louisiana State University, she built her career in creative industries before moving to West Virginia. While her surroundings changed, her passion for the vibrancy of New Orleans never faded.
Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday, is more than just beads and parades—it’s about community, celebration, and creativity. With Becky’s influence, our office comes alive each year with bold colors, festive decorations, and the joyful energy of this famous festival. From jazz music playing in the background to King Cake (where someone always finds the tiny baby!), she ensures our team gets an authentic taste of the festivities.
With Becky’s guidance, Fat Tuesday isn’t just another day at work—it’s a celebration of creativity, heritage, and togetherness. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
