About the Project

To keep personas interested in events and activities throughout Greater Morgantown, as well as to collect leads for future marketing efforts, Greater Morgantown Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and BTA worked together to create monthly giveaways.

The giveaways were promoted through landing pages, Facebook Ads, Googleâ„¢ AdWords, TripAdvisor and numerous social posts.

Giveaways to-date have included: whitewater rafting, ziplining, golfing, a West Virginia Black Bears game, VIP Passes to MountainFest Motorcycle Rally and a two-night getaway for two in Greater Morgantown.


The Two VIP Passes to MountainFest has been our largest giveaway entry to date.
